Stitch or Ditch is a church reality show aimed at reaching the people of God with the message of sexual purity. It’s a show that strives to reveal the things of God regarding marriage, sex, sexual pleasure, sexual immorality and morality. It mainly concentrates on purifying the mind than controlling the act.
Most of us are aware of sexual sin but we are not that much aware of the gifts of God in the area of sex and sexual pleasure. Satan and this world promote sex and sexual pleasure as an entertainment, something anybody, anywhere and at any age can have. But God, who is the Creator of both sex and sexual pleasure, puts sex and sexual pleasure in the marriage because He is the only One who knows what is best for us. That fact in mind, we try to understand the reason behind all God’s conditions and requirements for a godly sexual activity.
So Stitch or Ditch brings topics such as the issue of masturbation, porn addiction, adultery, fornication and other forms of sexually inappropriate deeds and shine a light at them so that they can be seen as they are, without their “shiny” names such as “adult entertainment”. Stitch or Ditch also focuses on the things of God in the area of sex and sexual pleasure in contrast to the so called sex of this world, the works of the flesh and the tactics of the devil so that viewers may see clearly the heart of God for His people.
We don’t try to answer every possible question around the topics we are dealing with however we try to create awareness. We want to create curiosity so that our viewers desire the things of God, dig the truth of God and be amazed by what they find out. Yes, the main goal is to challenge and enlighten the mind, to create thirst and hunger of soul for the things of God.
The leading Bible verse for Stitch or Ditch church reality show is: “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
Stitch or Ditch is not part of any church, organization or institution. Stitch or Ditch is not a church either. All of us behind this name have our own local churches where we go and worship God with other believers; where we minister the Body of Christ with other ministers and where we cheerfully give our tithes and offerings.
May all the glory and praise be to our LORD Jesus Christ who is the Author of all knowledge and wisdom.
